My Electoral Prediction
Well, election season is upon us. Duh. It is beyond banal to say that this is an important election. So I won't say it. I will say, however, that this is a prime opportunity to show off your pundit chops. So, if you are so inclined, I would like to present the Ich Bin Ein Oberliner Electoral Betting Pool (NB: we bet points not dollars, because, obviously, I would never break the law so egregiously...).
Unfortunately the points pool is only open to those here in Oberlin as they are the only ones who will be around to receive the excellent point prize! But anyone can show off their pundit chops and earn pundit plaudits by following these instructions BEFORE, SAY, THREE O'CLOCK TOMORROW.
(1) Go to Dailykos.com, (2) Click on their "Daily Kos Political Scoreboard" on the top banner, (3) Make the map to your liking, and (4) link to it in the comments of this post (there's a handy "LINK" button on the DKos Map). INSTANT FUN!
I'll be at Hug House tomorrow night for the election festivities. If you're going, make sure and bring a couple points with you for entry to the pool and other fun games. If you're in Oberlin and want into the pool otherwise, shoot me an email. Happy Election, and vote, damnit, vote.
