The Authority: Prime
Don't read this comic.
Don't read this comic.
If I hadn't already gotten issues one through four of this piece of shit, I certainly wouldn't continue reading it. The Authority: Prime is the worst incarnation of a once proud and important comic. It's hard for me to see it devolve into a Wildstorm continuity cluster-fuck with asinine dialog and blind stabs at social commentary. It's as frivolous as Ennis's run on Authority, but where Kev was funny and self-aware, Gage is self-important and poorly-executed. I could continue eviscerating this crap, but I think I'll let it speak for itself.
"The mother####ing gloves are off."
"What is... Is she having sex with him?"
"Could you at least stop attacking me with cute homicidal animals?"
"Off buildin' yer own secret eam of postmodern hipsters"
"Impossible. Henry Bendix is dead." "You'd think we get tired of saying that."
Considering this is the third time I've heard it, I certainly am tired of reading it.
