I thought I'd leave you with some more Keegan Wenkman, because I love his art. And tell you the final instalment of Adrian Tomine's Optic Nerve three-parter is done and great. I don't remember what he's calling the three of them (issues nine, ten, and eleven), something like White on Rice. At any rate, like most Tomine, don't read them if you just broke up with someone, are in a relationship with someone, or are even remotely sad, unless you want to wallow in self-misery. Optic Nerve seems to be, and White on Rice (or whatever) especially so, an exploration of twenty-somethings who fuck their love lives/work lives/lives in general up. And, yes, it resonates with me.
